SUBJECT: Mud Run – September 12, 2009
The Mud Run Committee needs our help. Deputy Marion Brown of Volunteer Forces, who is on the committee, is in charge of volunteers for this event. She needs some volunteers to help out.
As of right now we need about 35 members from our SAR units to lend a hand. The tasks and assignments will vary, but will not be a lot of hard work for this one-day event.
The good part is that you will get to see this very successful and fun event up close and personal. The committee has reported that they are expecting over 2500 participants, up from 1500 last year.
If you plan on attending please get ahold of Deputy Browne ASAP. Call her at 909-387-0611 or email her at mbrowne@sbcsd.org She is going to need the names of the individuals who plan on attending from your unit. She will also give you all of the info that you will need to know about when to get there, where and what to bring.
I hope that you can help her and the committee out this year…. This is going to be a very fun event to attend……….see you there….Thanks!
