Earlier this month during our RRS course, we had a near miss. A near miss is an unplannedevent that did not result in a serious injury, but had the potential to do so. A near miss is often
due to a fortunate break in a sequence of events. Sometimes it’s timing, distance, or a warning
from someone close by. In some instances, it’s hard to call it anything other than luck.
